Slack!!

My first completely free day since I came back from the states! Home for all 24 hours. That's an achievement! But that also means sighhh I didn't get called up for relief teaching. I guess they realised that a geogger can't exactly relief a history class. Bleh. 刷了人情卡 also no use.

And it's also a pretty bad day to stay at home cuz I woke up and got a shock cuz the internet wasn't working! Starhub's servicing their cable service. No internet, no cable tv. Omg it was like back to the days when I just moved into my nyc apartment. Tragic. o.o So I decided to start reading 那些年 the book in 繁体 somemore just to see how supposedly good it is. I'm a third through the book and it doesn't seem that captivating yet. Seems like some 爱情小说 with those beautiful phrases I can copy for the 描写文 I used to love writing.

Had a decent lunch yesterday to celebrate my aunt's birthday. Everyone's getting older it's so scary. I still remember when she used to play loads of word games with me when I was in primary school (that's why I love word games now haha). Then went for teo heng with my bro and my cuzzies! First time I sang so many english songs k cuz my cuzzies don't really listen to chi songs. The states has made me lose touch with my chinese-ness. There's 933, but I realise I only listen to it when exams are nearing. :p

Spent the night skyping for a really really long time. Part of the time I was listening to how my mum skyped my dad despite the sucky internet connection. Was totally amusing. XD The other part of the time was even more amusing hahaha. :))))
